Sultry singer, Monique Hellenberg is synonymous with Cape Town jazz. Having performed with the Jonny Cooper Big Band, Track 5 and Mamavox, she could sing her jazz standards in her sleep. This dynamite-sized artist proves to be versatile too having performed lead vocals with Afro-Cuban salsa band, Maquina Loca and performed as guest vocalist with Cape Town ska band, The Rudimentals. Not only that, she also comes into our homes and cars as the featured vocalist on house music duo, Goldfish’s current hit radio single "This is how it goes". Her achievements have been noticed as she won the SAMRO Overseas Scholarship Competition for Singers in 2007 and has subsequently studied Latin American Music in Mexico in 2008. Monique usually performs with her band of well known Cape Town guitarist, Alvin Dyers and bassist Wesley Rustin.

The Hellenberg Trio was awesome! Everybody really enjoyed the music. Whenever we have another party, we will book Monique again.
